Oakvillegreen Conservation Association and the Town of Oakville hosted the Mayor’s Third Annual Urban Forest Awards on Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010. This year, local tree heroes who fought to preserve and expand our urban forest were honoured along with local businesses, schools and individuals who created healthy urban forest habitat through landscaping.   Our winners from the Arts Contest and Grade 6 School Poster Contest were also recognized.   View the media release.
